• This position will be responsible to maintain Production Equipment and Tooling in optimal conditions achieving MTBF, MTTR, Uptime, Preventive, Predictive and Corrective Maintenance, and TPM metrics, manage the daily activities for Aerospace Tooling Fabrication and Maintenance, conducting design reviews, preliminary analyses, and documenting the Tool design activities to enhance productivity while reducing defects and rework. • Additional responsibilities include developing the necessary group skills and behaviors to enable associates to efficiently meet schedule commitments; provide weekly/monthly status reports; conduct associate performance reviews, and mentor and facilitate associate development. Primary Responsibilities of the Position: • Responsible to Achieve Performance Key Metrics: MTBF, MTTR, Uptime, TPM, PM, OEE, Productivity, and cycle time reductions • Responsible and accountable for supervising maintenance engineers, tool designers, and tool makers in support of maintenance, fabrication, and design-related activity. • Responsible and accountable for employee management including resource management, performance reviews, succession planning, and employee development. • Responsible and accountable for rationalization of design/fabrication capacity versus demand. • Responsible and accountable for driving common processes, tools, and VPD processes within design and fabrication. • Responsible for ensuring that fabrication and design activity is accomplished on schedule and in support of design to cost objectives. • Responsible for executing against global strategy

Experiencia y requisitos

You must have: • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Industrial Engineering. • Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish (oral and writing) • 3 years of Management experience desired. • Knowledgeable and Experienced in Mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, control, and automated equipment • Proficient in CAD systems required. • Strong experience in CAM, CAD, CAE, and PLM software (MasterCAM, NX, and Teamcenter preferred). • Demonstrated ability on GD&T and Engineering blueprint reading, understanding, and interpretation (GD&T Certified preferred). • Demonstrated ability on problem-solving, project management, communication skills, team player, and change agent. · Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish (oral and writing) We value: • Experience on welding and conventional grinding, turning, milling, and lathe machines as well as technical knowledge on CNC machine programming. • Additional knowledge of analysis methodologies, manufacturing, project management, and the IPDS processes highly desirable • DFSS/Green/Blackbelt certification desired. • Demonstrated ability on problem-solving, project management, communication skills, team player, and change agent. • Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish (oral and writing)
