• The Value Stream (Operations) Manager (VSM) is responsible for planning, leading and coordinating all activities related to the value stream of the products and services under his/her responsibility; for the performance of his/her team in safety, quality, on-time deliveries, costs and inventory. The VSM is also responsible for the implementation and continuous improvement of the Honeywell Operating System (HOS) and to promote a high-performing teamwork culture. • This position reports directly to the Site’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Leader. Key responsibilities include: • Meet customers’ requirements and business objectives related to safety, quality, on-time deliveries, costs and inventory in alignment with Site’s goal deployment initiatives. • Lead the effort of all the direct and indirect (support functions) resources under his/her responsibility providing coaching and guidance towards achieving specific objectives. • Empower the Business Units leaders to drive the necessary actions to meet day-to-day commitments, as well as the successful deployment of the HOS system in all areas of responsibility.. • Participate in Site Leadership Council to define and oversee the strategies of the Site and the maturity of the HOS system in alignment with corporate initiatives and guidelines. • Promote and support continuous improvement of the areas under his/ her responsibility applying six sigma and Lean manufacturing culture and tools. • Complete performance evaluation of his/her direct reports and to promote employee development in accordance with corporate systems and guidelines. • Prepare and participate in financial and operational performance reviews of his/her areas of responsibility with upper management. • Plan and coordinate the necessary resources to support the successful introduction into manufacturing of new products including product engineering, sourcing, planning, production, etc. • Lead risk mitigation actions and strategies to meet program/product introduction milestones. Act as a problem solver for cross-functional issues.

Experiencia y requisitos

You must have • The incumbent shall have applicable and detailed work experience in least 2 of the 4 following areas: Manufacturing/Assembly Operations, Quality, Engineering (Design or Manufacturing), Materials/Procurement • The incumbent shall be a tireless leader, expected to support the organization as may be required during all shifts of operation. • Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization and customers • The incumbent shall possess a Bachelors's degree in Business, Management, Materials, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Finance. • English advanced written and spoken We Value • An MBA in a business discipline will differentiate the successful candidate but is not required for consideration • The incumbent shall be a certified Greenbelt, a Blackbelt certification would differentiate the successful candidate • Lean manufacturing knowledge • Knowledge in Aerospace / Automotive industries • Leadership Impact: Ability to think strategically and critically analyze details. Capable of consistently taking the initiative to get things accomplished
