Descripción y detalle de las actividades

• Oversees and/or performs quality activities for a customer(s), a process/cell or work unit,. • Direct impact to customer satisfaction, product quality and Cost of Poor Quality. • Will have direct & frequent customer contact, supplier contact and/or internal cross-functional impact. Plans and executes projects to avoid or recover from quality problems. • Drives cross-functional activities to achieve quality objectives. • Drive World class quality and corrective actions analyses • Lead 8D/CAR teams to contain and permanently resolve quality issues according to customer expectations for response time and technical rigor. Works with and across functions as needed for issue resolution. • Support Responsible for preparing and/or approving customer and internally required quality deliverables such as, PPAP, ECN, etc.). • Obtains customer approvals (i.e. homologation) as required for changes to products, processes and/or suppliers. • Supports customer field returns review and warranty analysis activities. Ensures reviews are performed on a timely basis, with proper rigor, and that resultant data and information is entered into relevant systems and communicated. • Facilitates BIQ practices (Rapid problem solving, change management, layered audits, etc) • Execute Quality Systems maintenance (Internal Quality Auditor, Support third party audit, etc)

Experiencia y requisitos

• Bachelors Degree. • Experienced quality engineer or complementary skills (e.g. product or manufacturing engineering). 3 years minimum. • Competency in relevant automotive quality practices and assigned customers specific requirements. • Competent in English. • Familiar with GD&T and drawing/specification conventions. • Knowledgeable manufacturing processes and its application. • Project management to lead cross-functional teams in CAR and other quality activities. • Six Sigma knowledge on Green-belt certification (minimum); Black-Belt (preferred). • Knowledge of quality systems & standards, e.g. • ISO/TS 16949.
