-Make purchases, search for suppliers and expansion of portfolio. -Negotiation of prices, delivery times and quality, and obtaining credits with suppliers. -Responsible for purchasing and negotiating materials, equipment, and supplies from vendors. -Identifies varied sources of commodities and services, evaluates bids, awards contracts and purchase orders, develops standards for new products or services, maintains contact with vendors, and maintains comprehensive descriptions of available products and current prices. -Develop an efficient and accurate system for monitoring all open purchase orders. -Monitor all purchase orders and maintain effective relationship with vendors, planners and sourcing team. -Work with the production control team to ensure that all deliveries satisfy the assigned purchase orders and report any back-ordered or missing products. -Assist the Manager with maintaining proper inventory levels of materials used on a regular basis. -Establish reliable lines of contact with planning and management team to ensure that all field purchase orders are accurate. -Expedites the ordering and delivery process for commodities or services through the use of automated procurement systems, and assures invoice payment by monitoring the process from initiation of a purchase order through the receipt of the goods or services and billing from the vendor or supplier.

Experiencia y requisitos

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, International Business or related career. Minimum 3 years of experience in similar position. English (90% conversational and written). Strong communication and negotiating skills. Detail oriented and high degree of accuracy. Ability to tactfully handle stressful and difficult situations. Customer oriented. Possess strong problem-solving skills. Regular and reliable attendance and punctuality. Strong Excel and data analysis skills required. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Computer knowledge (Office: Word, Excel, Power Point, etc ) Valid US Visa and Willingness to Travel.
