As a Supply Chain Analyst, you will conduct data analysis to improve our supply chain operations. In this position you will be forecasting, scheduling production, purchasing and working in product launching. You should have analytical thinking, ability to work independently without direction and a great service attitude. With your help, we will increase efficiency and reduce costs. Your day to day: • Facilitating the monthly Americas units forecast, reporting, and analysis process. • Identifying and forecasting total demand for Americas sales region by interfacing with Marketing, Sales and Product Management. • Responsible for making sure that each step of the process is being performed effectively so as to rule out lost sales opportunity and costly delays. • Maintain forecast updates in Demantra and Oracle ASCP. • Work closely with Marketing, Sales, and Manufacturing to determine impact of upcoming Customers deals and promotions. • Coordinating with Product Development, Marketing and New Product Operations teams to set launch quantities and to ensure smooth product transitions. • Balance worldwide supply demand of specific product category by coordinating overseas partners (vendors, distribution centers and sales) to optimize supply chain at minimum cost. • Developing and implementing product allocation plans when demand exceeds supply. • Partnering with global procurement teams to allocate constrained components. • Managing customer past due backlog with the specific purpose of proactively closing any supply gaps with operations. • Acting as a liaison between Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales to ensure alignment of forecasts and inventory planning.
Experiencia y requisitos
Your day to day: • Working closely with Life Cycle Operations Manager/EOL team to smoothly end life products at minimum inventory impact. What you bring to the team: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. • 90% English. • 2-4 years’ Min. experience in supply chain, planning, product management or financial analysis. • Strong knowledge in ERP Systems [Oracle desirable] and Microsoft Excel. • Strong Communication skills; has good listening skills, builds strong relationships, is flexible/open-minded, negotiates effectively, solicits performance feedback and handles constructive criticism. • Team player. To participate in multiple teams. Promotes team atmosphere. • APICS CPIM Certification desirable. • Results oriented, Customer Focus, Peer Relationships, and person tackles problems and takes independent action, seeks out new responsibilities, acts on opportunities, generates new ideas, practices self-development; Integrity and Trust. Computational level: • Advanced in excel (pivots/graphs). • Oracle or SAP experience. (Demantra, Oracle EBS and ASCP). • OBIE desirable Poly is an equal opportunity employer.
